Lt Col Oommen
A veteran Army Officer
A passionate biker and traveller, believes in the enrichment which travel brings to life. “GladlyLost” Adventures is all about sharing this happiness and inspiring the adventurer in you. “Great trails begin where the road ends”.

Col Oommen has travelled widely across the length and breadth of India and explored many countries too. Much of these road trips, through hundreds of thousands of kilometers, have been on motorcycles. Apart from more than three decades of motorcycling, he has done scuba diving, parachute jumps, microlight flying, kayaking, white water rafting, rappelling and more.

He has lived in Leh, Ladakh for two years and was smitten by the raw beauty of the mountains. He has planned and led many rides to Ladakh, Zanskar and North Eastern states. He has also explored Kerala and Karnataka on many treks. Has a good grasp of the diverse culture and traditions across many regions in india. He plans, coordinates and also enjoys personally leading many of these rides.

Deep Gogoi, known affectionately as Captain Gogo, embarked on his two-wheeled odyssey two decades ago, embarking on an extraordinary journey that has spanned the entire length and breadth of India. From the challenging terrains of the North East and the picturesque landscapes of the North, to the colorful cultures of the West and the serene beauty of the South, Captain Gogo has traversed it all, claiming every road as his own.

He stands at the forefront of a movement, not just as an enthusiast but as a beacon guiding the next wave of tourers with a steadfast commitment to safety and discipline as the captain of ARC Bengaluru and a pivotal member of Moto Federation India. His expertise isn't confined to touring; he's also a maestro in motorcycle repair, with a particular fondness for breathing new life into vintage models, thereby preserving a rich heritage while steering towards a progressive future. Beyond his personal passion, he plays a vital role in enriching the motorcycle community, offering DIY maintenance workshops, leading inclusive motorcycle tours, and spearheading training initiatives for women, thus challenging conventional barriers.
